Forest Toney

Mr. Toney heads a church in Independence, MO called the True Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Toney makes several unique claims, including being Elijah the prophet and having secret information about the Sealed Portion of the Book of Mormon. Toney has virtually no followers, but he does have a headquarters and places ads in the Independence Examiner quite often. During the 2000 World Conference of the RLDS Church, Toney ran an ad that prophesied "spontaneous human combustion" to all those who did not repent. More can be found about Toney in Steven L.
